Who we are

During the difficult financial times of the last few years, long-time financial advisors, Allan Mosher and Mike McGraw saw first-hand the toll the unstable economy was taking on charitable organizations. Need was up, way up, but donations were down and vital programs at all levels of society were being scaled back or cut all together as a matter of survival. At the same time, Allan and Mike knew from working in this area as specialists that people still had a moving desire to give, to help and to leave a legacy. The problem was most people didn't know the steps to take other than a mention in their will and they didn't know how leaving a planned gift could have significant tax and estate benefits.

In 2009, after a great deal of research and program development, they established the Charitable Partners Group to bridge the gap between the desperate needs of charities and the desires of people to leave a meaningful life legacy.

Allan Mosher, Founding Partner

A financial advisor since 1994, Allan is Senior Advisor for Mosher & Associates specializing in insurance, pension and tax related strategies. Al's experience with business owners has taught him the value of planning and making use of the tax act and the benefits for individuals and organizations within it.

Mike McGraw, Founding Partner

A 27 year veteran of the insurance industry, Mike brings valuable knowledge and experience to the team. Mike is a founding partner of IDC Atlantic, Clearpath Consulting and currently owns his own financial consulting firm, BRIMA Group.

Charitable Partners Group is supported by one of Canada's largest Managing General Agencies (MGA's) IDC Financial.

Our Nova Scotia offices are located in MIddleton and Dartmouth and in New Brunswick we have an office in Saint John.

With over 15 years of experience working in marketing and communications in a variety of diverse situations - marketing agencies, not-for-profit organizations, as a special events charity fundraiser, and in the tourism industry - Jennifer provides strategic advice on the best ways to connect with clients and donors.
